Yes. Legal services in Nepal are provided by advocates licensed by the Nepal Bar Council. Engagement letters and advice are issued in compliance with Nepal Bar Council regulations and applicable professional standards.
Foreign investment in Nepal is governed by the Foreign Investment and Technology Transfer Act 2075 (FITTA) and its regulations. Investments above defined thresholds require approval from the Department of Industry or the Investment Board (for large projects), with NRB approval for foreign exchange aspects. The approval path, documentation, and timeline depend on the sector, investment quantum, and structure — minimum thresholds and prohibited sector lists are updated periodically and current rules must be confirmed.

Selectively. Our litigation practice focuses on commercial disputes, tax tribunal and revenue matters, regulatory appeals, and labour court matters connected to the corporate clients we already advise. We do not generally accept litigation work disconnected from a broader client relationship. Where matters are outside our scope (criminal, family, public interest), we refer to specialist counsel.
